i had to get 1 of them relays as my cooling fan stopped working on my old car! pulled 1 out and ended up breaking down outside the stealers where the relay was corroded! they are like 12quid each iirc inc vat and usually all 3 are replaced! try that mate!

this is also true but the paintwork etc on my was immaculate! and came with FSH! you never know though! like the thread the other day with the 197 that had sent a piston through the block and that was how old! you can never tell! but since owning the 182 ive not found it to bad! only had it...

would i have been able to see the diff breaking up in the box after removing the shaft?

^^ thats all very well but doesnt mean it wont go wrong a week or month down the line! mine was 100% mint when i bought it but it needs a new driveshaft now! just 1 of those things! joy of motoring!

Ive had the car on a ramp in work after college! removed the n/s driveshaft and its got a clean break! Im hoping this is all it is! the other side spins all ok and ive looked into box where i took the shaft out but u cnt really see alot! Another question does anybody know what SAE the gearbox...
