trapped lead under the upper inlet giving an airleak, egg seal fallen off from under the upper inlet, vac pipe missing from the servo (unlikely as they don't rev that high) or upper inlet not seated properly. they can feel seated but not be.
Aux belt and cam belt idler failure seem to be biggest cause on them, followed by dripping valve head BUT I've seen more bottom end failures over the last 6 months than belt failures.
Also aux belt tensioners can be solid after about 8 months as well so that can cause belt to jump.
Think...
they've been going for years and do a hell of a lot so probably small profit per wheel. i used to charge £25 just to dip a wheel and at that price it wasn't worth the hassle most of the time.
so according to all the figures and weights...my lads twingo would leather it :tongueclosed::tongueclosed::tongueclosed::tongueclosed::tongueclosed::tongueclosed:
should hopefully stop the bottom end shitting itself :tonguewink:
they apparently don't hold pressure well at high revs for long period of time. seen a couple of bottom ends go recently, including my phase 1.
