It doesent seem cost effective to me. With that kind of cash your very close to a VAG 20v installation with a K04 turbo(270bhp). F4R turbo conversions are about that? (250-280ish iirc)
Still i'm sure it's going to be awesome. If we're honest, the 1*2 doesent need more than 210-220bhp. It'll be...
if that's standard, get some eibach sportlines on it. If you want it lower still the apex 40mm will get you there on a budget. Have a look on the ktec website
Supras are wild.
the 2 most legendary utube vids are
5000bhp from 4 supras (all with a GT47...a farkin 47!)

Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
lovely stuff.
The hybrid is looking pretty sorry for itself on those stands :(
Are you sure it's a good idea to loose the heater blower? What are you going to do for demisting?
good option.
If you do decide to replace the hub, I've never bothered with a ball joint remover. I find it easier to remove the ball joint from the wishbone, then remove the ball joint from the hub if re-using it. When refitting, put in one of the strut bolts, then one of the ball joint bolts...
Yes but the haldex front/rear clutching system should be driving the rear wheels in the above video. I would imagine he's drained the oil from the central clutch for that video. This would also reduce his transmission losses.
R32 turbos are truely awesome. but the 5 pot 20v is still the best...
I'd check the wiring.
It fails where the wires connect into the tailgate at the top, was a common fault on MK1 clios.
if you can, check for a connection between wires in the tailgate and wires in the car/roof. You won't be able to see the cores frayed in the wires from visual inspection alone...
