Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
loving the new runabout mate :) Very nice indeed and a good buy.
Did you manage to try the fuel pump on the hybrid? If not do you think it's an overfuel issue (temp sensor, O2 sensor?)
Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread
been busy there whiters! hope you had a good xmas and new years.
The 172 track idea sounds a good-un. Are you sure the willy rack is required for the wide track? I've been thinking that the track rod ends could just be adjusted, but not sure. :S
have fun...
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
I really wanna know WTF is in said bodged head!
Jord, didn't you have a volvo 1.7turbo engine knocking about? what happened to that? I expect it fitted and running by mid next week. Get on it. ;)
alright yeah. I like the way they look, but you wouldnt want to drive one fast would you.
IMO, that is too much to pay for that car. Having said that the KW are a major bonus.
which side are you removing? I know it can defo be done on the passenger side (as i've done it a fair few times now.
There are 2 securing bolts, One is obvious under the bonnet, the other is in the wheel arch (need to remove thewheel arch liner)
Then it's a challenge to get out, but not...
yeh but seriously though, 2-4 days in the cheapest of cheap vinegar should be enough to make it sparkle. even without a vibrating bath.
Might be a money saving idea for you.
Looks like it's going well. nice thread :)
I've heard nothing but excellent reviews about lumix cameras.
I think i might just wait, and spend a little more in january
Really really want the Lumix FX35. £140, but seems to have a good lens, shoots 10MP, and shoots HD quality film FFS!
Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread
Been busy whiteley! good work. I like your thinking with the rack. I'm still not sure what I want to do with mine.
How did you seal the 4 ports then?
First post isnt showing for me, so I'll repost.
Can anyone recommend a good point and shoot for 70 or 80 quid?
I may be able to spend a little extra.
I'm looking for something that shoots good film too.
Would consider a camcorder that takes photos but don't think i can get one for that price.
I've managed to get my hands on 3.50, turns out it's 5cds, labeled 0,1,2,3,8 which is a little worrying.
Now. With this version, do i still need to do all the uninstall quicktime, uninstall adobe, uninstall java runtime lark? Worth trying without doing that first of all?
I'm not picking fights or trying to be argumentative :) all fun and games.
Icarus has his point that he thinks that the terms used on this forum are not suitable for the motorsport industry, fair enough, perhaps they are not. But then, this is....a forum.
I was not aware that the edurance car...
Theres nothing silly about a Cold air feed if it's right for the application (and it often is). What you've said above is that a cold air feed can supply ambient temperatures to an airbox, and the objective is to have the airbox at ambient temperature......
The shorthand term CAF is convenient...
I don't like the idea of painting your calipers to show em off if they are just the standard ones that renault put on there. If you've got APs, paint them neon green! but i think standard calipers should be black.
Maybe it's just me
