i cant comment as never driven a mk7 but by all accounts the motoring press/you tube/chris harris etc say the mk8 is a big step up from the mk7. i have no complaints its great fun to drive, brilliant handling, powerful, great recaros and the bose sound system is excellent.
Mpg isn't brilliant tbh. I'm all short journeys and always in sport mode get around 32mpg. Also its mapped on vpower so 1.42 a litre. This has the performance pack so has the quaiffe diff as well which is great.
The daily. Had it nearly 2 years now. Its got a few mountune bits fitted, recently had a milltek exhaust fitted which sounds great and today it was treated to a stage 1 map at Laird Performance who are the go to mappers for ford's in Scotland. Final run below it was hot 21 degrees so figures...
looks so much better after being dropped. personally i would look at getting a smaller 330mm suede wheel as it makes such a difference to the driving experience compared to the boat like monstrosity they come with.

i have jon foz frames and buckets in my cup, transforms the drive with the lower seating position. interested to hear your thoughts on the ns2-r tyres and im looking at getting a set to replace my rainsport 3s

yes it would of been mine minus the reg plate which was fitted after they had finished with it. mines is safety devices rear cage which has plates welded and then bolted to the plates that come with the cage.
how many miles had he done in those years? so many turbo'd clios on here that have been broken or gone pop. just dont see the point in fitting turbos to these cars. totally takes away from what the engine was designed to do and made for. cams and throttle bodies if you want more power and...
