Ideally, I prefer them quieter, I had a scorpion on which was really loud & hated it! So I converted back to the original. Renault are quoting £350 for the centre section from the down pipe... does that seem about right for that section?

Yea, so they saying I need a new centre section from down pipe, Renault dealership expensive!

hi, in need of help, just been to the garage with a loud exhaust, to be told the baffles have gone & I need from down pipe back centre section of the exhaust. I’ve just rang Renault but the prices are crazy!! Does anyone know where I can get one that’s not going to cost as much as Renault? Thanks

Yea it's the standard seat runners, they fished out 2 x £1 coins in the runner but still doesn't move. I'm just confused as first they said they took the seat out & now they're saying they need to cut the retaining bolt off to free the mechanism which means il need a new seat base I assume...

Hi, sorry if this question sounds a bit strange.. Does the 197 2008 have standards Bluetooth? It has the button under the steering wheel but it doesn't do anything! Is it an upgrade for the wiring? I just want to connect my iPhone 6 for music.

Yea someone told me to use hycolt & paint it on.. Heat resistant lacquer to seal the sticker on aswel.

I'm looking to paint my sliver calipers on my 197.. Has anyone used hycolt heat resistant paint? If so was it any good? Plus I'm putting the brembo stickers back on so would a clear lacquer be better on top to seal it all down once painted?

I've also tried some breakers, which a couple said if i buy the air box all pipe work will come with it, but after the second attempt from two diff breakers, (who both said yes it comes with all 3 pipes) both only came with the 1 main pipe,no cold air feed pipes! Is anyone breaking a 197 on here?

Hey guys.. I'm putting the original airbox back in my 197, but it's impossible to get the 2 cold air feed pipes anywhere!! The only place is dealers (which are crazy expensive!) anyone selling any or is there any other (universal) I can poss use?im taking the k&n cone filter out as too noisy but...

I've just gone to chance the k&n cone filter back to original but noticed I now need the two cold air feed pipes on my 197! Does anyone have any spare for sale as cannot find any in eBay or any breakers.Very frustrating as the old owner stripped all pipe work along with the box & threw them!

So went to change it today... & forgot about the cold air pipes!! Does anyone know where best to get them or is anyone selling any on here?

Haha when I 1st bought it last month,the mpg was 34!! I used to get 33 from my 182 which was good to say I used it like I was on a track!:stig:... Yea the stock manifold cracked so they put the toyo on. I'm changing the cone this wkend so hopefully I may hear a change.

Ok great thanks, il change the cone back to the original & see what difference before I go down the exhaust manifold route.

I've got a 197 with a k&n cone air filter & the guy before me put a new toyosports manifold on. It's pretty loud which is ok but I want it to sound almost quiet... Would it be the manifold or the cone making it roar?! It feels like it's coming from the centre of the foot well where the manifold...

Yea unfortunately they haven't got them anymore, Prob sold them all on! Well if anyone out there that has the whole pipes/airbox give me a shout!:wink:

Well found out its going to cost alot, as the guy who fitted it has literally took all pipes & everything out & left just the cone filter!! Is there any quieter cones or anything that just fit to the big K&N single pipe?

Does anyone know where I can get an air filter box? Non on eBay or scrap yard! Thinking of getting the cone out & putting original box & filter back in.. Would an oem panel filter still be loud or just an original filter be better? Sorry not really mechanical.

Thanks... My 182 sounded amazing with just enough sound, I do like abit of roar but I like my 197 to look awesome & yet understated ... Power outdoes noise anytime!:tongueout:
