    surround dvd problem help

Google "hack" and the make and model number of your DVD player and there will be a million and one sites which show you which code to type in to make your player region free. Not sure what the surround problem is though.

    BDC licensing day at LLandow

Nice pics. I prefer more traditional aspect ratios though.

Clearing hard drive etc when selling laptop

A format won't really erase everything. It will just break the links to the data, which can then be pulled back using various tools. If there is nothing important saved on it, just reinstall Windows and be done with it. If you have ever had a collection of photos or documents on there that you...

[PC] Shogun 2 : Total War

I had quite a few hours of fun out of Rome: Total War. Might give this a go. I get bored of RTS games as soon as they get complicated or take too long though.

I like the site. If you are using a flash site, you should add a redirect for people using iPads/ iPhones and anything else that doesn't support them too. Good luck with the ven2ure.

    Lens Creep?

It's only really an issue if you are going to be shooting with the camera pointing up or down in a tripod. For normal use, lens creep won't really be a problem.

A new meaning to mopping your car!!!!

The kids who live opposite me cleaned their mums car with the scouring side of the kitchen sponge to get tree sap off or something. She went mental when she saw it but it looks as good as new after a professional polish.

    Home Wireless Network/File sharing etc

Pogo plug is an awesome bit of kit if you need access to your files from outside your house, but overkill if you are just sharing files inside. Any drive with a network plug on it will do the job assuming you have a router. The iTunes server means that you can have all computers use the music...

    Shooting in RAW.

^^ Yep! 25-30MB a pop for mine at the minute. I dont need to use all the pixels so I should probably use sRaw instead but TB's are cheap. :)

    Shooting in RAW.

I have all my photos on a separate disk to the operating system on my PC, and copy them weekly to an external drive which I keep at my parents in laws place. I have 10,000's of photos that I would be gutted to loose, ever. It depends on how you feel about loosing your photos. A while back I...

Nice snap. The 1.8 is a bargain lens. How are you finding the focus? Now I don't have a 50 in my bag I am missing mine a bit. You always want what you don't have.

Have you checked your cabling? I've just ballsed mine up trying to tidy things up a bit. Gone from 120MB to 10MB. FML.
