Your best bet is try to and find someone nearby with a Trophy and go out for a spin. Everyone has their own opinions as to what they like. However, when I test drove my Trophy, I also tested a FF182 and did notice a substantial difference to push me towards the T.

Just ordered two new top mounts for my Trophy while the suspension is off for refurb. Cost me around £57 inc vat from Renault per side.

Where did you get the £425 from? My Trophy is going up from £215 to £235 and my wife's Megane 225 goes up to £245 For a moment I s*** myself

They were great until the Gford branch closed down and the staff moved in. Their c**p reputation swiftly followed! My mate who's a mechanic now services the Trophy and Megane 225, so I know it gets top treatment.

Cracking looking motor mate. Seriously thinking of getting rid of my Trophy for a Clio200. Used to have a 197 and still miss it. We also have a Meggy 225 so a nice choice of cars at the moment, but I want something a little more solid than the Trophy now.

My 197 was never as exciting as the Trophy. Hence we traded it in for a 225 which my wife and I share. Nice to come out the house in the morning with a choice of RS cars:)

Agree, its better than the 197 I used to have and certainly handles better than our 225. All down to what you want out of a car though
