How many times has this been covered?

I started with a FF197 and now have a Trophy. Kinda speaks for itself. But hey we have a Meggy 225 aswell;)

Don't bother using the foam though. Waste of time and makes a complete mess inside.

Fitted the K-tec ones a few weeks back to front and rear. Make a nice firm improvement.

No it wasn't. It was a 182 with above spec (and air con).

Hi mate So far so good. Still got a fair bit of running in to do, but the brake pedal is firmer and there's more of a reaction higher up in the pedal. i.e. when you just dab the pedal, you can feel the brakes now. Still no squeaking! At this stage I'm not confident to say whether I'd track...

There's two on each caliper (top and bottom where the pad sits). If you've got them on, just lever off on opposite directions e.g. bottom one, lever upwards etc and they just ping off. Would also re-grease the pads if this is the case.

Fitted the DS Performance pads yesterday along with Brembo Hc Discs and K-tec braided lines. Obviously need running in, but seriously better than my previous stock setup.

The paintwork on my Trophy isn'e exactly of a high standard. Roll on the summer when I can clay it again.

Had the same thing when I went from the 197 to the Trophy. Its an brill motor and I can't see myself ever getting rid of it.

If you do a lot of driving, stick with the 197 or get a 225, but pesonally my Trophy would be too much for the long trips

So was my 197. Since having a remap and new exhaust on the Trophy though, its a real improvement.

Just get a set of Brembo HC's. Ordered mine from K-tec at the weekend (very cheap)!

McLaren is only down the road from me. Don't often see other Trophys round here though. I've had mine remapped and had a new exhuast. made a huge difference:)
