    182 Owners...

Also this depends if he is making the EXACT same exhaust from a 182 dimensions, which I doubt as wheel well in the way, then might make measuring the bumper worthless, surely the person making this can cut the bumper to fit? or is this a bodge job?

    Exhaust Question

New owner will want a cat though, they over £100 for cheap crap one too, I'd keep it personally. All race tubes make any car stupid loud. you'd probably struggle to sell a car like that too.

    182 Owners...

Have you looked properly? there are toms of 182's breaking out there, you'll also need the tail pipe trims first otherwise will look proper Gippo imo Have you also got another Hanger in place for the 2nd tailpipe, 182's have 2. also are the holes for one even there / clean threads for the hanger.

    Exhaust Question

That Cat looks quite old so not for that price, 2ndly one it's got have you got another for next MOT? Also straight throughs are very rare and become mentally loud, a place like longlife will make one for you however, on a road car I really wouldn't though.

    strange problem

It's not technically the earth point, when you take the light plug out the one on the left is the earth wire, the socket on it will likely be black or white with dirt and corrosion and come loose, I ended up soldering mine together to stop this, but a general clean and squeeze the bits together...

Which of the following tyres will last the longest?

Not sure where half of this came from, the better the economy rating the lesser they will last, the Uniroyals have the lowest rating on economy and actually lasted me a long time, Kumho tyres are really good too.

    strange problem

Bad Earth, Get someone to sit in the car and brake and indicate, I bet it's like an Xmas tree, you need to clean the connectors in the lights and make them tighter.

172/182 Buying advice for a 40yr old noob!

3.5K is a bargain for a Trophy, almost worth buying and breaking it. Dude BUY it now! is it the Scottish one though that's been up for sale for nearly 6 months?

172/182 Buying advice for a 40yr old noob!

They are recommended to be changed every 2 cambelt changes but you won't know it's gone until it has and starts rattling. Personally for the Money after chucking so much into my 182 I'd say.... Get FatRS on here to sell you his Nice Petrol Blue 182 with Cup Packs it's very nice example, or buy a...

Whats a 180 Sport? Where are you located? Flywheel makes minimal difference the standard one isn't that heavy. You sure you need a Clutch? they are crap, heavy and high as standard.

should I buy a clio sport?

CUP is on Log Book, but they will NOT have AC and will have the crap seats, best way of telling and I wouldn't get one that hasn't got the Turinis on.

should I buy a clio sport?

See the Blue 172 CUP is the one to get on looks alone, or if you can get a PH1 Sunflower but so so so rare now and probably cost more than a Cup. Engines are Solid if they have been looked after, plenty on here well over 100K

should I buy a clio sport?

£146 for 6 months, i think I should have bought a 172 CUP,mainly as they look better, best wheels and minimal exhaust problems compared to the 182, they are half the price too. Yes they have Pov spec seats but people on here sell 182 Interiors for under a ton so I wouldn't worry about that...

    New Motor Time

I don't fancy anything made by BMW did think of a Z4M but again mental money for what it is, Narrowed it down to a Clio V6, Pork Turbo or an NSX but NSX unlikely, hideously expensive to buy and not many people actually know anything about them, if something Vtec related happens I'm unlikely to...

    New Motor Time

For fear of rolling would prefer a solid roof, 4WD doenst phase me but Engine has to be behind me for proper sideways powerslides, Porkers actually good for slinging their fat arses around bends, like to get the back end out.

Time to start the mods !!

Yeah dude, You'll need either an RS2 + Decat + Cams or an ITB Build for 200 Horses on this motor, in other words you'll need at least 3K to do it.

    New Motor Time

Seriously stuck now, have discovered you can get a 02-04 Porsche Turbo for £20ishK, is this a Heroic motor or a bellend showoff job? Much more rapid and might be more suited to me? have also seen a 95 911 Turbo going £17K a mint one.

    Vandalised roof, ideas?

Sorry to see that dude some right c***s out there, id call a mobile dent man out wont cost too much to sort but theyd only use acryllic paints etc to cover up and wont last forever, tbf a new painted roof shouldn't cost more than £200 and isnt hard to dolly it out and put some filler in. Try...
