I had remote start on an old car of mine. As a gadget its great, really turns heads when a car starts on its own, also nice for those cold mornings you want to warm your car up, but the novely does wear off and you find you barely use it after a while.

I have had the same problem on my 172, but at about 80mph. I had it laser tracked today, and its all cured! (and handles better as well!) :D Downside was it cost nearly £40. :(

Steve, I saw both the red and blue v6s at Brands. The silver pods look a bit wrong on the red, but in the flesh I quite liked them on the blue. It would be nice to see one with them painted, to compare.

I did 22,000 miles and 2 track days on my original tyres, also only changed my brakes after 28,000 miles and 2 track days, so its not that rough on the car at all. If you want to do a trackday book the Renault one at Bedford, its a great price for what you get, very safe as well.

yeah, they have quite a few on mytyres.net around the 40/50 quid mark. Not bad at all. r3obc, with the 195s on the car will actually be going slower than the speedo says, so if youre doing 100mph true speed, the speedo will show 101.5mph, not really much to worry about I suppose, which is...

If you put the 195/50/15s on, the speedo reading will be 1.5% too fast. If you put 205/50/15s on, the speedo reading will be 0.3% too slow (which is pretty much spot on). Although imho I reckon the handling will be better with the 195s, and far less chance of rubbing. How much are...

from those that went to Belgium. Im going to finish the CD(s) towards the end of this week so need everything in the next couple of days. It looks like itll all fit on 1 cd maybe as well. we need more video, so who was it that done some filming?
