Correct, Roof liner is the same as a non sunroof, base spec (authentique/campus/van) - The cheapo looking one lol
interior is specific to cup, you have a few options non RS wise that are closer but not the same:
extreme 4/campus sport - same design seat and patern but different colour...
My rad fan is on its way out too, sounds like it's about to shear off and exit thru the bonnet.
My AC compressor got quiet after a regas for a few days then back to noisy again, they get noisy when they are low on gas
Yeah that's the normal location for the needle to sit.
Mine has a noisy AC compressor too. AC worked lovely after a regas but it's died and I've got the dye over the bottom of the compressor so I assume it's leaking/dead
I used to look after that 200 at my previous work, akra and ktec manifold on it. last time it was in I diagnosed it as a UCH fault and 3rd gear synchro never seen it back again lol
I remember going to see a nimbus 197 cup on black speedlines when they were new in the dealers showroom, I was only 18 at the time and I remember thinking it was the coolest thing I've ever seen! They have aged well!
People fit the mk3 recaros into the mk2, so essentially you are looking to do the reverse, find out what they do and see if there is a solution! I've never tried either unfortunately
I went all 2004 and fitted a smaller plate from fancy plates to my daily smoker 1.2 16v
was going to wash it but i better wait a few days to let the double sided tape stick properly lol
As a above, standard setup is fine, the old 406/MK1 frs/fiat coupe turbo calipers weren't actually that great and are not as light as the 197 style ones. They do however just bolt straight onto your hub which is nice lol
I had this exact issue on a twingo which runs the same setup as a MK2 Clio, AP coilovers, rattle from the rear, I switched the top mounts, bump stops, was over everything with a fine comb, couldn't get to the bottom of it. Swapped the rear dampers for Apex ones and the noise disappeared I was...
no the 4 litre was me being a spaz trying to get a pedal!
yeah autel was much the same just follow the onscreen instructions, pressure bleeder on it, open the bleed nipple as its purging the pump and the air will come thru
Snapon should do the abs bleed sequence as I've done it on an autel with no issues.
When I built my van I set it up from dry, 4 litres of fluid thru it still couldn't get a pedal, another litre with the rstuner bleed sequence and it was good as new.
Given the milage I would sell without the belts. That's probably more likely to be the sort of car people are buying for a cheap toy rather than people looking for a minter/investment etc (no disrespect to your car, I'm sure it's as good as you say) that then leaves it open to people looking for...
Worth noting, I see a lot of people choosing bilstein b14 due to the name these days, I went thru 2 pairs of rear dampers in 12 months/1500 miles with only light road use, bilstein did swap them under warranty, but the fronts also looked like they had come from the titanic after this same period!
Identical shells if you get one without a sunroof, myself and @aldo_87 have done a couple of reshells with ours, much better condition shells on the non RS cars now. As brigsy says, only worth it if it's a long term project so future resale isn't a concern
