Ah wasn't sure if you were on here. Cheers for showing me round the car when I seen it, remember you have promised me a run in it when it's running right!!!
You thought about speaking to another specialist who might have the ability to fix it? Worth a session at EFI I'd say!
Lowering springs you will be able to get from the usual brands like eibach, h&r, apex etc
Exhausts there isn't really anything off the shelf so you will need to go custom. Probably look best if you get a GT rear bumper and then a custom exhaust to fit that.
That's the one! Boy paid top money for it and it's never ran right from day one they claimed it was fine when they sold it then he found the build thread of them discussing the exact issue on the second last post followed by a post saying "it's fixed , now for sale!" Not good!
Anyone running a supercharger conversion on a mk3? I had a poke around the ex supreme motorsport demo car a few weeks back and I've always fancied a supercharged car. The owner was saying he was currently taking supreme to court as it wasn't running right and they couldn't fix it but I see K-Tec...
haha no rush pal!
he owned it from a few months old I'm sure and it always had a sunroof in the time he had it, I assume either the first owner or the dealer had some aftermarket thing carried out
I have often wondered this, now its been answered!
Good work with the video/Channel, Video is produced/edited to just as good a standard as anywhere else and you come across just as well as any of the other guys on the top channels (y)
it never brought the light on once in 30k, HOWEVER it was running a superchips map so I'm not sure if the EML/EGR had been disabled, there was certainly nothing in the description to say it had but my old standard 65 used to bring the light on with the EGR disconnected.
Mine ran brilliant after I disconnected it while closed so it wasn't doing anything! Night and day better, performance, economy and just general running!
One of my favourite projects on here, I love seeing someone spend way more time and money on a car than its realistically worth (my drive is full of these projects!). Its amazing just how usable they are as a daily/commuter/European road tripper!
I'm not sure anyone's done one yet so imo its a lot of work (and cost id imagine) when the F4RT conversion is easy, tried and tested and bits are readily available.
Any time I come across one on a Clio its an injector, coil pack or lead (sometimes people trap them under the inlet when refitting).
First for me is always a code read, see what the car is saying and check the live data to make sure everything's as it should
Then I always check the resistance...
