As above top mounts and springs changed but they are Interchangeable (I fitted 200cup dampers on my early style too mounts and 197 springs) the damper clamps into the hub as opposed to the mk2 way of bolting with 2 bolts thru it.
My experience of them is less electrical niggles and more...
Not sure there is much other than doing loads of searches on here. The basics:
Available mainly as a 200 or 200 cup, there was the raider and Silverstone GP too. There was also the gordini (love it or hate it!)
As per the 182 the 200 was available with cup pack giving lower and stiffer springs...
Sean some seem to have the wiring with no nav but not seen an RS with this. Does the vin on your dash top match the car? People were selling sat nab setups for mega money back in the day, seen the dash top alone go for £300!
Na was years ago, sorry I've never seen the wiring under the base to see how it was wired I assume an extra wire ran along side the main wiring to the sat nav system
it was an optional extra and all the Dynamique+ dci 100's ive come across were pre wired for it though with the GPS receiver in the Ariel (my 100 had it) - they have the ariel with the big base rather than the small round one:
None of my cabasse cars have had that either!
But yes it does sound a chunk better, not quite as powerful as a good aftermarket but a nice compromise of looking standard and retaining the controls/screen
This! I suppose it's different cars for a different generation. I drove my mates 475hp golf R and it was capable, fast, dull and forgettable, it's the fastest car I've ever driven yet when I tell my little girl stories about driving fast cars, it never crossed my mind.
Seeing that getting the...
I think other than fast fords I'd be looking at an Impreza, everything else JDM has climbed and imprezas have been slow to react.
Trophts I'm sure one day will go the same way the 5gtt and 205gti has gone but it's a long time to wait for a small gain compaired to what fast fords have done over...
I wouldn't say so, i think a cup would be a better investment given they can just about be had for the £1500-£2k mark if you keep an eye in the right places.
While i think you will make a bit of cash on a trophy over a few years, you end up loosing garage space, say you bought one today for £6k...
rear callipers were past there best so stuck a pair of rear callipers on it and some braided rear brake pipes:
been out doing a bit of visiting in it, started doing some easy miles to come across any teething problems, luckily nothing major its been sweet
ive started winding it up now and...
I wouldn't bother with the strut braces, no improvement to be had. Just make sure you don't want to put the stripes back on as they are over £300 from Renault, if they are still available! that's why I left them on my Twingo
Mick will look after you.
It's not a full fat though just a normal 182, as it doesn't have the cup spoiler pack. You would need to measure the bolt spacing on the front dampers to see if it has the cup suspension.
Nice colour in the flesh the blue!
It may have changed but I couldn't get a ps4s in the size the trophy ran so it was just the normal PS4.
Reading online most people said the PS4 was ALMOST as good as the supersport in the dry and night and day better in the wet but I found it to be noticeably better in both conditions.
I changed mine from supersports to pilotsport4 and the difference was night and day, dry and wet! The PS4 was a much better tyre imo!
I had a low speed, mid bend understeer from new that vanished with the ps4
