Remember bodyroll isn't the devil. While it's not a race car the 182 out the box makes a good fun track car, more so with a set of springs such as the ebachs you have fitted.
How old are the dampers?
A lot of People buy their desired car as a track car then spend thousands on mods having done...
I've got the little 063 which was smaller than what it originally had, its the cheapest the motor factors listed too, none of the fancy yuasa stuff. Starts fine when its been sitting for a few weeks, powers the xenons fine etc AND everyone told me you need to connect a charger when bleeding the...
it should just be a 2x pin connector on the fan so you can just wire it into the cars existing fan wiring? if you want it really tidy then just raid the scrappys for a connector that fits the fan from another VW and connect that upto your loom?
This, at the rear on the van I've got fresh callipers, lines, fluid and a set of standard discs and pads and after a good blast the rears are getting HOT! so they must be doing something lol
you really need to do a good 50-100 miles to get an accurate reading of your MPG once reset as every time you lift off it will read 99.9 and when your on the throttle going up hill it will drop into the teens
if your getting it in neutral it could still be a driveshaft/bearing
put it in neutral so its making the vibration and give the car a rev and see if the vibration increases with revs, that will tell you if its somthing after the gearbox or somthing before it
as above, wheel bolts and check the front drive shaft nuts to make sure they are tight, play in the bearings can cause a vibration although its noticed more during cornering
I had the exact same problem when my high pressure fuel pump died and started taking injectors with it, the rail wasn't seeing enough fuel pressure so would crank all day long before it eventually would sometimes fire sometimes not. Brake cleaner would always start it.
leakoff test will take 5...
Looking for a bit of help guys, got an issue with the 182 van, because the full ABS system was emptied and swapped over to the van during conversion ive ended up bleeding about 4 litres of fluid through it and done an ABS bleed with the RSTuner. The pedal feel is now perfect and brakes are...
Rear lambda should just be there to confirm the car is working so shouldn't cause any running issues if it's the same as the mk2.
If like the mk2 it's the same sensor front and back of the cat then try it in the front first for a few days to see if that cures it since your buying one anyway
Worth getting it plugged in as a lot of people diagnose it as "normal" as they ain't the best when cold but sometimes that points people away from a faulty lambda sensor or somthing similar.
I've never found any of mine particularly bad to drive when cold, infact my 172s were all worse before...
As above I've only ever bought Pioneer but the wiring has all been a straight swap the only thing you need an adaptor for if your worried about it is for the screen (it will still show clock and outside temp without one) and the steering wheel controls.
You will need an Ariel adaptor for a...
