Twenty minutes a side.
Pull the sill trims off (and weather stripping) as well as the rear interior quarter trims.
The seatbelt mech is held in by one T40 and the buckle at the top by another T40.
The hardest part is removing the trim without damaging it. If you remove the rear speaker first...
Negative. It's a road car first. I've done the whole totally stripped, buckets/harnesses thing with the Ph1 and hated it on anything other than an 11/10ths blast. This is more compromised but better for what I used it for.
Big update time.
FINALLY took delivery of my new seats on Friday. Two Corbeau Clubsports in standard size. First impressions are they they're SNUG in standard size, I'd say anyone over a 34" waist would struggle to be comfy! Much more so that the Pole Position I was using previously. Fitted the...
No plans for anything serious and my seats aren't stamped anyway so it's just because I want one. Only the rear Safety Devices one, nothing drastic. They're bolt in.
There's a guy on 200net who's selling one in Sep/Oct so we'll see.
Triple R Composites are now finally making a Clio 200 direct fit splitter. A few people were previously using the Mk2 Focus ST splitter and modifying it to fit.
At lease they'll be a good option for 200 owners now.
It looks a little low for me, but I'm going to wait until I see the final one...
So you did. Yeah, they're around a grand Sterling, taxes/exchange taken into account.
I've always wanted a CAE. There's not a lot more that the car needs for my uses, so it's all personal preference mods now I guess.
I've got a list in my head of the few bits I still want and an LSD is...
Sold.
You sure mate? I have plenty of pads so that's not an issue. Send me your PP and I'll sort the payment tomorrow. £10 is robbery so I'll chuck a bit more on.
Had Illusion as a sample pot and wasn't too fussed. Tried Glasur too, which looked great was a bit temperamental compared to Carbon.
I think I'll give Vantage a go. I rarely hear a bad thing said about it and it seems to fit the bill.
Thanks for the replies.
All other mods are now on the back burner. I've found out that you can install a CAE shifter with only minor trimming to the plastics.
Once the service is out of the way, this'll be the next purchase. I know they're expensive and I was always put off by the fact you had to bin all the trim, but...
Hi.
I've been using Zymol Carbon for almost as long as I can remember now, but I'm finally running out. Before I re-order because of familiarity more than anything, what are my options?
I apply coats every 3-4 weeks so durability isn't a big thing to consider really. Car is Ultra Red. Solid.
Tanks.
Another recommendation for Gary. I've had a fair few phone calls with him before I booked mine in for the 30th May. The guy seems absolutely spot on, really knows his stuff and from what Niall and JB have said I'm really happy.
Mine's going in for major service, belts, outer steering arms and a...
