sorry its years since ive played with aftermarket stuff, I used to use Pioneer as I had a large Pioneer car audio dealer near me and the stuff was very good but it was years ago and ive never tried any other brands so would be wrong for me to say just buy Pioneer lol
find an insurance company that mirrors your ncb say you have 10yrs, then at the end of the policy you get proof of no claims for 11yrs, now you have ncb for separate cars/policies that you can use with other companies, that's what I done and now have 3x cars on 3 policies with 15yrs ncb on each.
im not a fan of aftermarket unless you are replacing the head unit or amping them
over the years they were produced there seems to be about 10x different versions of speakers, small magnets, large magnets and a few different variances inbetween, the ones I posted above seem to be the best of...

Done a bit more work today, had the odd bolt that had sheared etc during fitting so went to the scrappys for replacements and replaced everything with the proper bolt, also found I had missed the rear engine loom earth at the top of the gearbox so connected that and that's solved my immobiliser...
I found the MK4 wasn't as good either, we had a pair of dci90s the remapped one done 60mpg without much trying and the standard one slightly worse, I think the long gearing had you loading it up more than you should for economy!
The 6 speed makes all the difference My DCi 110 kangoo is...
I found my mk3 dci 106 was about 10mpg off the mk2 dci 100 (that's worked out at the pump, not the trip) they do drive much nicer though.
for mk2s id say 80 is the best of the bunch, getting hard to find though
It's not been changed yet, job for this weekend.
