once they have injectors and a map they properly take off at 2000rpm like an old skool turbo car! I love them! bit mild in standard form but a nice balance of low down grunt and quite revvy

That's not going to cause vibration though as its not rotational. Knocking and grinding yes! The rings are needed to centre the wheel properly. Saves you a load of time gradually doing opposite bolts a bit at a time and even at that your not guaranteed a perfect centre wheel due to...

Apparently there is 52mm spacing cars but i think it must be the 8v 1.2s with the non vented discs as I've never seen a 52mm car in over 50/60 mk2 ph2s!! Never heard of that suspension before could be worth a gamble

The boxes are fine they just don't stand up to people with no mechanical sympathy as well as others, worst case if its on its way out have it rebuilt and look after it and you will never have any issues again. You never hear of issues with the same box in the dci 106 as they are not thrashed...

86/88 feels quicker around town due to better low down grunt under 2000rpm. 106 pulls much better over 2000rpm and have the much better 6 speed box. I found the 106 was the same on fuel when driven lightly as the less power models, both driven hard the 106 gave a few mpg less. I was hard on...

there was a ph1 on high 20's the other day on ebay not sure how genuine it was but the condition looked as if it matched the miles!

I had loads in my DCI, changes all engine mounts with brand new genuine and it was better but still doing it, I was stumped as they were pretty tight when brand new. changed the worn track rod and track rod ends and it stopped, there was that much play in them that's what was causing it lol!!

front hub will be bent causing that camber, ive had it happen on the red 172 and blue twingo, I would have thought the hub was the strongest part but for some reason it wasn't!

no chance would I be buying T1R's over the Efficentgrip and I used to rate T1R's for the price. Twingos come with them from the factory and they have bags and bags of grip, we do 36k miles out the fronts on them too!!!!
