it says 6 months is £0 because you cant tax it for 6 months, my DCI is the same its £20 for 12 months.
LOL at going raj because your tax is £20, I genuinely ENJOY paying my £20 a year as it makes me happy knowing that's all it costs haha!
I would avoid ktec like the plague for mapping.
they map them on standard injectors, paul at RS Tuning showed me my standard map one on standard injectors hitting 100% duty cycle!! imagine how lean that could run when mapped!! no wonder RSTuning wont tuch them without changing injectors.
you...
when you lift off the throttle they let out a horrible deep hum, yet on throttle they make no extra noise lol!! we tested it with a Halfords mushroom on my dci 100 for a laugh
my 172 and 182s never really got that much attention the 200 on the other hand used to sit outside my house and id watch people walking past taking pics of it as if it was some sort of Ferrari lol
haha totally!
all my mates have bought karts, only one without one now, missing out haha built a ropey trailor my mate tows with my old 172 now for them!
I just stick a patern part oil filter and fuel filter on it from a motor factors.
5w40 fully synthetic is what you want
I use this as its cheap and what Renault recommend...
I gave mine the full works 6 months ago, it consisted of...
Oil
Oil filter
Air filter
Cabin filter
Fuel filter (beside the battery, easy to do)
pop the EGR valve off and clean it out, including the intake pipe (I then left mine unplugged so it stays closed
not much has changed still just doing a few miles a week in it when its dry, although trying to keep it out the sun to stop it going pink haha!!!
pictured here with my DCi 80 Daily...
yep id replace inner track rods and outer track rod ends.
inner ones are a bit of a pig unless you have a tool to remove them such as one of these....
with one of them its a doddle.
1. jack up and remove wheel.
2. loosen off track rod end securing nut from tie rod
3. remove track...
Im starting to like the retro look of the mk1 V6 more and more now. used to think they were a little bland compaired to the mk2, the mk2 (and mk2 ph2 clios in general) have aged quite well and still look pretty modern! so for me it would be a low millage good condition mk1 as its a safe...
correct person :) na I didn't have one mate, does sound like you have an issue there as they should drive like an n/a as standard where you get loads of benefits from revs.
when mapped its all about the mid range I rarely had my mapped twingos above 4.5k where I was using 5.5-6k when standard
the code is displayed when entering it you sure its all plugged in? should be 4 plugs on the back, definitely the 2 big block conenctors but there should also be 2 small ones (some cars might just have 1 from memory as I believe one might be the cd changer) but one of the small ones is the screen.
I agree the box doesn't stand up very well to ham fisted ejits but then neither do JC5's!
you never see the DCI106 with the same box as a 197/200 needing new boxes as they are generally not thrashed through gears and most of them are doing 100,000+
my 200 done 15k hard hard miles, went thru 2...
