Saw the R27 comin off the A52 in Gamston going towards morrisons
and the blue one heading towards nottingham knight roundabout each just after 5.30 tonight
anyone from here, both looked a bit shiny:cool: I'm a real fan of the blue after seeing a pic on here of a blue one with black wheels
4AGE 20v engine 1.6l, 2 types silver top and black top-slightly higher compression ratio 12.5:1 175bhp, the silver top 11.5:1 165-170bhp IIRC

Just a personal preference with the ph1 mirrors, I think they look smarter, you dont see many valvers with them on these days. I've always prefered ph1 mirrors and ph2 grill tbh
The vee used to belong to riz, my m8 picked it up 3 days after I got mine back
Got myself an F7R...
It's been 7 months since I had a little oversteer induced off road excursion  and done this damage to my baby   as well as the all the suspension damage
I wasn't too worried about the cosmetic damage as the plan ever since I bought it was to get full respray. So the...
Fair play to ya mate :approve:
French car ownership: annoying heaps of sh*te that break and cost a fortune yet so rewarding they're worth every drop of blood, sweat, tears and money that goes into it:approve:
£150 for 4-5 hours labour is a fcukin bargain  -£30 for the clutch and it's £120 labour, £20-30 per hour is very cheap:eek:
Let the garage do it, not worth the hassle DIY to only save £120 for a new clutch
I've found that the combination of discs & pads are quite a big factor performance wise, certain disc/pad combinations seem to be quite poor
e.g. I've heard a lot of people have said ebc greenstuff pads are sh*te, I had greenstuff pads with ebc discs that were a massive improvement over std...
it's a bit sad to see people giving up on valvers lately, all cars will get to the point of being money pits due to age.
I've stuck with mine and it's a minter now:D
If I could afford it I'd like a 172 as my borin everyday car and the valver as a toy

PITT manouvre FTW:rasp: french tin Vs. T5 tank, hmmmmm I think it would be the automotive equivalent to gang rape lol!
Joking aside, prats like that learn the hard way, most of em end up dead:nono:

he's got an ex-police T5, hasn't polished the bonnet so you can still see POLICE where the stickers used to be.........might sh*t him up a bit and calm down
nice to see a fellow C16v member on here :approve:
Recently had a full respray done on my valver  . I know not to polish it for at least a month.
What I want to know is, how I should go about giving the car its 1st polish?
What sort of product/technique would you recommend?
Any advice on looking after brand new paintwork would be...
Another good source of information is www.williamsclio.co.uk , do your homework and look at a few to get a better feel for them.
The only reason most people say they're unreliable seem to forget they're older cars, and things wear out so the thing are gonna cost money, so will the 182's 197's...
