Depends entirely on how you'd use the car - had similar coversation with my housemate when he bought his Vee - if it's purely to be used as a toy the Vee wins hands down imo saying that, there are much better cars around for the same sort of money and the FRS is 1 of them, and if it's not to...

I've got my eye on a ph2 172 lump I'm considering dropping it into my valver, I'd like to know a few practical things about the conversion Firstly what bits bolt straight onto the Mk1 without modifications? The lump I'm looking at is a ph2 and will come with subframe, gearbox, complete hubs...

I get just over 300 miles on a steady run but usually around 250 with spirited driving thrown into the mix Done a run from Nottingham to Cardiff & back in my m8's vee and he was getting 23-25mpg until we found some tunnels :rasp:

Rip everything off the valver & refurb it ie paint the rear beam, subframe etc then put it all on the newer car, I'd also get the bonnet modified so it fits with the ph3 lights and put the valver front arches on ;)
