You can't go wrong with the Hammerite paint. I did a set of calipers using it. Filed/sanded/degreased then away you go. 3 coats and 24 hours later and they were spot on

Yes all axles that drive wheels require a diff. If say it's FWD then both read wheels are independent of one another therefore don't require a diff. Without a diff driving the wheels you couldn't go round bends without the inside wheel skidding. LSD is different again and allows them to be...

Surely you want a lighter rear end? If you have the rear slammed into the ground with 'downforce' then it's more likely to under steer?
