So giving the missus car a wash today and gave it the once over too. I had the front tyres replaced last year and now one of them has a large bulge. It's a 2012 Kia picanto and she doesn't go over 60. She also hasn't hit anything as the wheel is perfect and she would have told me if she hit...
It's difficult to say. I think it probably is repairable. Has it went in at an angle and potentially hit the inside of the outside if you know what I mean?
Have you recently changed the leads ie taken the top inlet off? If it's not set correctly this causes idle issues. Check the throttle body, might be sticking
So why didn't this henk chap help out with that? I for one am not a professional mapper and wouldn't have a clue about any of these things. As would most others on here
So you think it's totally acceptable for this guy to sell maps with instructions. Then potentially the ecu is just a brick and he does nothing to even try and help? This ain't no hobby for the guy. He sells s**t loads of them. It's a part time job at best.
It is his problem. He's made a map up...
I honestly don't know mate. Might be worth while firing up a video and seeing what response that gets. Hard to know for anyone without actually hearing/seeing it.
I think with any decent mechanic worth their salt would want you satisfied 100%. Don't worry about taking it back with an issue...
Not gonna lie I've never seen an mot sheet with so many issues listed. It sounds like the car is used and abused. To have that amount of issues at 114k on an e39 isn't great. I would expect the car to have 50 owners and 250k miles with a fail sheet like that!
He should get a brand new Kia...
I much prefer the speed limiter to cruise control. Barely ever used it on any car, I'm just not keen on the feeling of the car running away from you. Fine at 4am when there's not a sole on the road but I found I had to concentrate even more with it on. It's not relaxing at all!
