    3/4 plate advice needed please

I guess people do it because they think it looks better. That is certainly why I did. If I get fined, I won't moan about it, I'll pay up and revert to the original. It's only £60!

    3/4 plate advice needed please

I just fitted one also. I don't mind risking it once, but if I ever get caught and fined I'll switch it back for good.

    Dents in my door...

Another thing I hate is people squeezing themselves between my car and another, whilst scraping their bag/coat/fat body all down it, leaving nice marks all along!

Removing numberplate stuck on with something very sticky

Hairdryer worked much better than I thought. Took about 5 mins, but with some gentle yanking it came off fairly easily :) Sorry if these are a bit big, I uploaded them directly from my phone. Before: After:

    Dents in my door...

I've got some on mine too and it really annoys me. I park out of the way in car parks now in order to avoid people parking next to me. The b*****s.

Alloy refurb in Kent or Sussex - and a question about colour matching

Hello, I have standard 182 cup alloys on my 182. However one of them is not the same colour as the other three, it is a bit yellowy, not sure how else to explain it. I would like to get it refurb/resprayed so that it matches the other 3. I have a few questions though: 1 - Can anyone...

Removing numberplate stuck on with something very sticky

I'm fairly certain it is double sided sticky pads, as they overlap the edge of the bumper so I can feel them on the back of the numberplate. I just sprayed some AG Tar Remover down the back, so will let that work it's magic for the rest of the working day. Then I'll heat the ******* up later on...

Re: show me your stickers u SLAG5!!! JMS sticker on the rear Will be putting a Renault F1 sticker on the front left of the bonnet when it arrives (the sticker that is, not the bonnet). That's it for me then I think, nice and simple :)

Removing numberplate stuck on with something very sticky

I tried yanking it off last night and it definitely isn't budging. Will give it a go with some Tar remover tonight.

    MOT?

Clean it inside and out. Won't really make much difference I expect but I always like to clean the car for an MOT, I like to think it will make them think I take care of it :) In reality, they have a checklist of things, and unless they are dodgy they will fail the car if it doesn't meet...

Removing numberplate stuck on with something very sticky

Hello, I've ordered a 3/4 plate for my 182 so I checked my existing plate to make sure it was simply screwed in, but it's not. It seems to be stuck on VERY well. I yanked at it quite hard but it wouldn't budge. I could give it a little more, but I'm worried about causing serious damage to...

    bummer007's 182 detailed

WOW! Great work on the stone chips. I wish I had the skill to do that to mine. That's surprising to hear. I find Arctic Blue polishes up incredibly well. I waxed mine for the first time this evening and it was extremely rewarding. I'm actually excited about seeing it in the morning I was that...

Finally got the Eibach Sportlines on the 182

I took a trip up to see Scott (Phase1sr) today as he kindly offered to help me out getting the Sportlines on my 182, which had been sitting in my boot for around 4 weeks! I'm really happy with the drop they have provided, exactly what I was after. I didn't want it 'slammed', I just wanted the...
