My local 'specialist' wanted over £100 to fit my Sportlines, which is why they are still in the boot of my car.

As title really, you drove past me as I was walking from my Arctic Blue 182 :) I don't suppose you know how to fit lowering springs do you? ;)

If there is anyone in the South East (Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Crowborough, Eastbourne areas) that can fit some Eibach Sportlines to my 182 for muchos beer money please let me know :) I'm happy to come to you even if you are a fair distance away.

I've had some for about a month now and still haven't tried fitting them. I don't even have any tools. I looked at the guides on here but still can't work out what I need :(

My creaking is fixed. It failed its MOT the other day due to a lower front ball joint being completely dead. That was replaced and now it's all nice and quiet :) Hurrah! The creaking was really beginning to annoy me.

Bugger, just bought a new one off eBay for £25 :( What a tit! Hey ho, still saving a lot. I won't be able to fit it though, so will have to take to a local garage will to fit it for me.

Garage has quoted me £68 for the ball joint and arm and about £65 for labour to fit it. Does this sound right?

My car also failed today on "Nearside front suspension has excessive play in a lower suspension ball joint". Is it worth replacing both on the front end, or just the one which is worn? how much do you think it will cost, parts and labour? Thanks

Hurrah!! I spotted someone from here :) I also spotted another Arctic 1*2 this morning driving by Church Road up towards St. Johns. I can't remember the reg though, looks like he had Turinis or something similar though.

I spotted you last Monday and we exchanged waves. Then last night after coming back to my car having been in The Barn you were parked in front of me :) They both looked great parked up together :D

Just a general increase in vibrancy in Lightroom has helped. Having said that she does have amazing eyes, they are incredibly blue; which against her reddish hair makes them stand out even more. She does have contacts in, but they aren't coloured contacts.

If it makes you feel any better, I got my 182 in April and so far it has cost me somewhere in the region of £3,500 to keep it on the road. Without going into detail, that included, among other things, a new engine, dephaser pulley, PAS pump, belts (twice), air con regas, new tyres all round...

How much did the labour cost to have them fitted?

Could be Grewham, he has a silver 182 and lives in Pevensey Bay (opposite my GF :))

JMS replaced the dephaser pulley and it is all fixed. Hurrah.

Not so pointless if your standard exhaust is rusted and on it's last legs though.

I really like the look of white wheels on an Arctic. Something I might have to look into :)

What do you mean by 'tightened up the front end'? Does it feel like you have more grip?

Thanks mate. Having the car running 100% is close, I can feel it. On my list: Eibach Sportlines (bought, need to fit them) New exhaust New dephaser pulley (I think) A few rattles to fix Turinis :)

What I mean is that the dephaser pulley is in the same area as all of the cam stuff. I don't know what the name of the whole thing is. What would you call it? Yeah I did mean the full system. I'll take a look at the ktec one, thanks dude.
