Running the pads that are in them Dave? if so cut the wear indicator wires off.
i would advise new pads with the new discs.

I bought 2 new mounts for £12 and two powerflex exh008 mounts for £12...
10 mins with a stanley knife and they are in, i drilled a hole top and bottom and put a 8x1 screw in to hold the mount in place.
No need for cable ties and looks spot on imo.
Remove passenger side wheel and arch liner and you will see it.
Other ones to check are the couple behind the headlight near the airbox intake pipe they rust up a bit too and need a good sand down and lube
Mine silver exhaust spray paint sprayed into a tub then brushed on with a tiny brush, took me hours lol and no brush marks either.
Alternator bracket is now also silver

I don't mean to sound rude but its a clio. either drive a 2000rpm nice and quiet or hoon it around above 5000rpm for noise.
The idea you have come up with is a good one but it will never work.
I have the K-tec ultra exhaust with ultra sports cat and straight through pipe and rstuner 98 ron map , if you get it right it pops on the up change and on the down change (helped with a blip on the throttle)
So i would say if you changed the centre section and just put the 98 ron map on and...
