If you were building your own PC you'd by an OEM copy of windows. Essentially the same but without the fancy packaging and once installed is locked to that PC and can't be used on any others iirc.
You don't live far from me do you Sam? I remember coming to that Hadlow meet with you and Steve (If you remember me?!)
I've wanted to do a trackday for ages, and thought about the Burpspeed one, but had no one to go with and its miles away, but if you're going, maybe we could make a trip of it...
I'd never thought about cleaning before. That's a valid point. What happens if you get bird poo on it for example..
I imagine you wouldn't be able to use any strong chemicals as they'd just destroy the plastidip, and I can't imagine you can scrub very hard
Double check the back of your Kenwood has the port for that lead.
I'm not sure if there are variations. That was just a 30sec google that bought that up.
Have the same issue. Have to fiddle around before I get a decent connection. Then I go over a bump and it'll lose connection again!
Ron's method sounds an idea.
Its a stalk adapter harness. Allows you to control an aftermarket headunit from the steering wheel controls.
The blue wire looks to be a remote wire for a previously fitted amp.
If you want to get rid of it just get a standard kenwood harness, unplug the existing one from the little yellow...
Standard also. Much prefer the look now I'm not 17.
Got an Aux in adaptor from MT Audio, and in my previous Clio used an adaptor to convert speaker wires to pre-outs for amped component speakers.
But can't be bothered with any of that now!
My Clio has been struggling to start recently, taking a few goes.
This morning however it won't start at all, the first attempt it tries to fire, then gradually dies to a click.
It is now making a rapid clicking when trying to start...
I personally think it'd look even better on silver wheels, like Turinis.
Grey body and grey wheels looks a bit odd imo!
Oh and lose rear tints and lights.
It is a great colour though!
Thing is why would people change?
The amount of times I've had discussion with people who've claimed, about this claim culture and how wrong it is, and the answer always is, "well everyone does it, so why shouldn't I, its not going to make a difference if I didn't?"
I think basically without the spacer when everything's tightened up there's too much pressure on the bearings, so they just destroy themselves eventually.
