I had already paid up for the full year in november....about £580 fully comp.They want an extra £53 for the 182 :( Ho hum....i'll have to rob another OAP then!

I was led to believe that a 182 Cup was cheaper to insurance than a 172 Cup....the 172 being group 17 and the 182 16. Does anyone know for sure?

No.The 172 Cup is awesome....but l wanted ABS,ESP,Air-con etc....call me soft but since 1994 all i've had is the Cup and 205gtis and they only had a radio! The other reason is that l f**king love the racing blue colour:) I never do track days so the Cup is wasted on me l guess.

Just bought a 182Cup and was offered a 'power package' which upped the power to 210bhp. Was told it was an Ecu remap.....l told them 'theres no way'!!!

I think so.I really wanted one last year but Reno would only give me £7300 part ex on a brand new Cup at £13800!!!! I tried to pretend l didn't want one for over a year......but now i've give up :) Still....i'll have to get some decent seats if i've any cash left

My 172 Cup...got £7000 against the 182 at £10000. Could have got a bit more if i'd held on but had to get my finances sorted as i'm off to Tanzania in a few weeks.

Just put mine in for a part-ex on an 05 182Cup in racing blue with the stripes.....should get it next week! :) Maybe i'll get spotted now!

On the Barton Bridge on the M60 a few weeks back and doing 70 ( ;) ) and hit a torrent of water......wheels spinning for about 3 seconds and pants ruined !

Not really.My car was bought as a pre reg so l got a big discount....wouldn't have swapped my 205 Gti if it was too much. I'm after a 182 but l'm having no luck selling at the mo (bl**dy impatient me :) ) and as my next car will have ABS etc l was wondering if l could 'upgrade' the Cup

Can ABS be fitted to a Cup172? If so could the ESP system Renault use on the FF172 and 182 also be fitted?

So what we're all saying is that once the 197 comes on sale theres gonna be a load of cheap 182's on the market for me to chose from? ;)

You could always part ex it for my Cup172.....when you get it fixed ;)

I agree....as for the 182Cup he would have put it up at £10500 minimum but its not the type of car they sell....normally BMW,Audi,Merc ETC.

My bros a car dealer and he says that a traders price for my car is £7100 at the mo. He had a Cup182 in Inferno,6000k on the clock,05 05 plate that l could have had yesterday for £9.4k......bugger! Wrong colour though :(
