When l take my foot off the brake pedal (with the engine running) l hear the rear brakes come off with a 'clunk'.Is this how they are? I had the car serviced yesterday and because l was listening for another noise from the front l noticed this one from the back?

Just got the call from Reno Manchester to say its been serviced. Paint work is to be done next week. Knocking was a loose gear box mounting bolt........what are the chances it will still knock when l pick it up tonight? Place your bets now..........

My Cup was £10.5K with just 17 miles on the clock.......f***ing bargain! If l'd had more cash l would have gone for a secondhand Focus RS not a new full-fat 172 mainy because its rarer and more full-on. If l hadn't had the £10.5K to spend l would have kept my 205gti.Its all about what YOU...

I had a 205 1.9 GTI 'S' which had 163BHP at the flywheel.It was much quicker than it use to be in standard form.But on a straight my Cup is quicker. But the 205 felt better to drive.It just that the Cup is easier to drive faster.

Can an aftermarket fixed-back seat (such as a Cobra Imola2) be fitted in the car so it can move forward to allow access to the rear?

I was going to upgrade to a 182cup a few months back.I took the advice that people gave me on this forum and have fallen in love with my 172 Cup all over again:) Weve been together for 18 months now and are planning to start a family:p

Its not due its first service till december...thatll be 2 years old as its only done 8k. It needs some bubbling paint looking at on the boot lid so was thinking of putting it in early.Is there any problems with doing this?

M60 this morning near the Trafford Centre.Could have been a 172 sport in grey with a V6 body kit! It looked unfinished....and a mess as the wheels were too narrow for the kit....and the rear headrests give the game away!
