The knocking noise can be heard if you set off in 1st and then just take your foot off the pedal....it 'clunks' from the front right.Also,with the handbrake on put the car into 1st and and bring your foot off the clutch quickly without stalling the engine...do this a few times and you will hear...

The mechanic told me a few weeks back that he would check on Renos' own internal internet thingy to see if any other mechanics have found a problem like this and what they did to cure it. Apparently there was nothing!!!!!

Well to me its simply....l pay £10.5k cash and they give me a car with 3 years warranty. I've paid the dosh...they fix the car.If they don't then i'll be on Watchdog with that nutter Campbell...

Brakes are always the 'last line of defence'. I always try to steer and maybe take my foot off the gas as well....thats maybe why my brakes have only 10% wear in 9500 miles. If you have to slam on get ready to take your foot off and steer round....but to be honest if your slamming on you'll do...

Have you checked your oil level? If its a 'tapping' noise it could be a gasket on the exhaust thats blowing. I've been told that a light 'tapping' on idle is the injectors....not sure why though!

The tiny bit of bubbling paintwork on the rear hatch of my Cup could not be repaired.They had to fit a new hatch which means the 'knocking' from the front hasn't been done yet and as l'm off to Hull on wednesday its gonna be later this week until they find out what it is. Is this ever going...
