Coming to work this morning on the M60 in very heavy rain.I had to go over the Barton bridge and come off at the next junction.I was in the outside lane doing 70mph ( thats 80 knots;) ) and passing other traffic when l saw that half the lane was just a torrent of water.I kept my foot on the gas...

I went from a mint 1.9 205 gti which was putting out 163bhp to the 172 Cup. It was like getting into a luxury car compared to the Pug.Still no ABS,traction control etc.But the Cup would eat the Pug which was not slow. And....the Cup cost £10.5k new.........10.5 f**king k new.......bonkers...

Possibly.I was told that all the 182 models shouldn't suffer from this 'cause the mod was done at the factory. If its under warranty get it done....why risk it! And hey,it only took me 9 months to have it done!

The guy at Reno Manchester was very helpful.He came out in the car to hear the noise then told me to wait until he was off his hols so he could work on the car.

Someone on here said it was data sheet TI 1505 and Reno Manchester said it was TI 5520. Give 'em a call and ask if have seen these.....then it should be sorted.

WAAAAAAAYYYHHHHHHHHEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAA!!!!! The noise from the top of the strut has gone. YES.......thats 'gone' as in Reno have fixed it after four goes.YES......thats 'four' as in 'four bast*rd times i've had to take it in with Reno saying theres nowt wrong,sorry,they all do that noise...

They say its ready to be collected....my beloved 172Cup with a dodgy front right noise....! They say its job number 5520 that they have done....! They say it was 4mm out and evident it was rubbing....! They say it might have also curred the clonking noise....! I'll let you know what...

Can't really knock the car....its f****** brill ! But for the dealer to say that the front right strut noise is 'normal' when the left doesn't make any noise sounds a tad like a truck full of Mr b****cks to me! They WILL sort this out for me. How much did this cost you?
