Hand wash, or cold machine wash with non-bio. Drying is where problems arise as a tumble dryer will reverse the charge/static, thus rendering them useless. Air dry only.
Hola fellow chumps.
I've been looking around for a strong wheel cleaner sample like Megs Wheel Brightener as I will need something serious on the insides of the Panzer's wheels weekend after next. Last time around I just blitzed them with IronX (literally 3-6 applications) and they really...
I would take an rs4 to Jay. I'd take a Clio to Jim or Russ.
I never know how to put this, but all do a superb job. Jay maybe plays on his prestige repertoire a little more? And has spent a lot of money on his unit. Thus is more expensive.
Yeah I will be doing. Clean, degrease, clay, brushed intricate areas etc Correction via DA as the paint is soohoftt, IPA, C4 all over.
The rest will be the usual wet work and then Amigo+Glasur x2.
Kev, here's something to mind f**k you a bit. And it's a conversational question.
The slower something cools, the larger the crystals. The quicker something cools, the opposite, i.e. smaller crystals. As C1 and CQ products are a drying/crystallising process, the shorter the curing time of a...
Down to ambient temps I would presume (limited knowledge but common sense).
I hadn't actually realised you could buy both. I'm tempted to buy it for my rear bumper as it's clearly been sprayed at some point as it's soft as s**t. I may overspill the C4 from the plastic parts onto the paint come...
Yeah us "oldies" would have a problem then!
Indeed. This is the great thing about the 3M range - the coloured tops of the polish correspond to the pad colours. You won't need anything with more cut, that will sort you.
A second UK wedding reception (last one was in LA in July) and a dentist appointment. Heading up Thursday night and back on Sunday so loads of time. I also appear to be able to work on the car for 24 hour periods of time as shown by the 2 days straight I spent on the Clio when I first took...
Apologies, labels would help! Yes MpH.
If it helps, I have applied G1 and don't like the lack of beading at low speeds as I only do town driving. Have since bought G5 and will be applying that next weekend.
More than welcome. Forgot to reply to your last one but more than a pleasure to have a pint and a chat.
Glass, gtechniq g1 or g5 - former for 2yrs longevity but beads at 50+ and latter for 6months but beads at 20+.
Gtechniq c4 for the plastics. Same prep for both (cleaned, ipa'd).
I would if I have time wknd/c 14th as I'm up North for a few days. But had intended to give mine a going over so would point you to Mike aka Bifcaids on here. Pop him a PM, great lad, great detailer, trusted by me.
I did wonder, but didn't want to say it and make you start wondering...!
Lovely!!
Noted, got confused when I logged in on Tapatalk!
Nice order lad!
I expect there were a lot of experienced lads thinking the same but not having the balls to post it!
