I had this problem with my 1.2. Simple to fix really, just open it, jam a bit of cardboard in between the hinge and close it so it closes good and tight down on the cardboard.

I'm going back to that bank this Friday in case the person is a regular, one would imagine the other car will have noticable damage as well, at least it will be missing some paint from a bumper.

Someone recommended the dent master to pull it out without the hassle of removing stuff from inside. Anyone familiar with this tool?

Estimate from the second place was £400 plus VAT, they reckon they dont need to replace the panel.

Now that the cops have said they can't do anything i'm gonna get working on getting the paint polished out to at least make it less noticeable. Maybe if i'm in luck the dent will push out and things won't be so bad.

Getting the dent out is fair enougbh but it's scraped as well so a spray will be needed.

The car has just hit 17k miles. The thing is, they will say they are fully booked and won't take it in for about 2 weeks, I drive on the motorway a lot and don't want a wheel coming off!
