Can be a pain to wiggle them out and get them back in once assembled. Not that hard though! just get someone to push down on the hub to line the holes up

Well I've just been out to check, and there is no movement when I try and rock at 12 and 6. Only when I rock at 3 and 9.. If it was bearing or ball joint wouldn't it rock at both? Can we conclude from that, that it is indeed track rod end?
