I followed the advice of the posts on here and cut away the old connector and fitted my own one on both driver and passenger sides. The light is STILL on though!
My mate is selling a mint set of BK121 alloys really cheap, I want them for my 2001 clio.
However, he has them on a 106, will they fit a clio?
They are a multifitment jobby so I assume its all in the spacer?
The mechanic said the starter was s**t but the battery was also quite poor, both have been changed and fingers crossed it seems fine. Will know for sure when I leave the car at the airport for 2 days next week!
Tried a brand new battery, didnt help at all.
I left the car running for ages, turned it off, then tried to fire it up., Click click.
Perhaps it is the starter after all?
Every now and then this fucker just wont start, all it does is click click but no fire!
When I put a set of jump leads on it will fire no problem and go for a few days before it happens again. I suspected the battery but last week I drove to Dublin (100 miles) and when I pulled into the car...
Right im giving this a bash on an old wheel first.
If you could post the names of the products you used such as laqeur etc i'd be more than happy!
My only grumble is I have 17 inch Osakas on my motor, toooooo many spokes!
Question regarding this...do you sand ALL the old paint off the wheels or just the bits with the kerbing to get them smoothe?
A detailed step by step guide would be ace!
I've had a notion recently of having my wheels painted black. Obviously i'd want this done properly, anyone throw a few figures at me as to how much i'd expect to pay?
Someone mentioned the wheel bearing...well done that man!
Just spent £300 on s**t for MOT but its finally ready, lookin rare with the lowered front and standard rear tho!
I take it rather canny over bumps and the like, I know a few folk with rear springs like this!
Anyways the question remains...will it pass with standard rear and lowered front?
When my lowering springs were fitted the guy told me the rear ones wouldnt pass..
Will my it go through with the lowering springs in the front but standard springs on the rear?
