iirc The Boosh got his RB 182 insured for just less than £2,000 @ 19.
When I was 19 I was so stupid and inexperienced I'm glad I couldn't afford to pay those sort of prices.
( I was even worse than Jamie. [jesus])
The way I see it now its either, the decoder ring, the key or the UCH.
I'm gonna replace the decoder ring first followed by a new key, I just hope I don't have to get a new UCH.
The standard screen only says what track is on anyway, what good is that?
It still displays the time with an aftermarket unit, that's all it's needed for imo.
I would agree with these replies but it's intermittent, it's been working okay since the meet on Sunday.
I've just payed for a decoder ring from cliospares as it's not expensive so worth a try.
My gut feeling is that it's the key, I've no second key to test though.
The car is only on 45k...
Jon get a pic of your newly applied sticker!
No one posting the pic of that lad in the blue shirt posing in front of the megane?
(sorry don't know your name)

When it did I jumped out, looked at my mate and was like "YEEESS", got some funny looks from the people sat nearby lol.
Oh btw, what's that fluid underneath the car?
I think he means a cat back system.
You are wasting your time though ordering off that site, Fred is still waiting on an order coming in afaik.
They are difficult to get hold of atm.
I used to be a named driver on the old dears policy and when I had a wee crash she lost her no claims and I never got one for that year.
That was with Directline who do give named driver NCD.
Right I'm posting this as none of the threads in the search seem to provide any solid fix for this issue and I want as many of the people in the know to have their say on this.
I had this problem a while ago which was fixed by replacing both ignition relays under the bonnet and it's worked...
Yeah it started eventually, just started to phone the AA when I heard the fuel pump prime and bingo, it started.
I'm really worried about it now though, it could fail anytime.
