Removing standard head unit from 172?

One will suffice, lol. Pop one side out, pop the other out, then pull. I did mine just yesterday, took me about 5 minutes to change the headunit.

What are you like with your friends/passengers and your car?

+1 thats about as disrespectful as it gets tbh. Absolutely no food/drink/smoke or anything in mine, I've made an exception before to crisps etc on long journeys though. It's a PITA to keep clean with just day to day stuff let alone people munching their dinner in there. Oh and I don't get why...

    Coilover Reccommendations

Too much effort that, just get some made for the ph1, as said they are still cheap even at £250 as you say. I hear the only cons of cheap coilovers is they rust over time and therefore adjusting them is no easy task. Then theres the handling aspect but as you say there just for the looks so I...

    Standard top mount issues

To be honest, the standard mounts are s**t...END OF. I've got FK konigsports, don't know if yours are the same but when I had standard mounts on without this washer there was still next to no thread on them coming through the top so it's no surprise you are having this issue. Sadly I don't...

    RESPECTABLE stripping...

Of course it will but safety is important which means a full cage and harnesses are needed.
  29. st3ve

    RESPECTABLE stripping...

Only take the back seats out if your fitting bucket seats. Only strip the whole lot out if your fitting a cage and harnesses. Else don't bother.
