Cheers guys!
Love the new steering wheel. Soo nice to drive with! I'm back to looking forward to driving it again lol!
Goes perfectly with my seats too, so I'm happy :)
I got a Momo boss from Demon Tweaks . ~ £45 including CS discount iirc
Time I got round to sorting the exterior looks now...
There is only one bolt, at the top corner of each side. To access it its easiest to undo the screw holding the liner to it anyway, so that's them undone.
Then there's a one each side underneath iirc, and the top plastic caps by either side of the top grille.
Then just pull hard.
Momo or OMP will both fit from DemonTweeks
Momo will be needed if you have cruise control, to fit the bigger connectors, otherwise OMP is fine.
Get discount if you look in the discount section.
Am I right in thinking in these situations you shouldn't brake, coz that'll make you lost complete control coz the back'll overtake the front?
Very lucky guy. Bet his heart was pounding!
Update: January 2012
Small update. Bought a Sabelt RenaultSport wheel a while back, only just got the boss though.
So fitted it, and some pictures along with my carbon fibre dash strips.
Worried about keeping the steering wheel in good condition though :S . And need to sort something out for...
Essentially you just gotta work it out lol.
Obviously any connectors wired onto the car loom from the floor would need resistors, but one's that are attached to the seat don't.

That guide is useful. Does depend if your using existing seat belts and wired up the pre-tensioners, or using harnesses.
You can get them from maplins (3.5 Ohm) 25p each iirc. Just ask someone...
You can just about get tweeters out without removing dash.
If you turn the cover then you can lift the cover off. Although sometimes the tweeters don't line up exactly to the hole, so not enough room to pull them out.
No not at all.
As said.
Two bolts right up top underneath arch liners on each corner of the bumper (Will need to undo arch liners)
Two bolts underneath bumber in line with either side of number plate.
Two torx screws in top when you open boot.
MT, He's got a Pioneer Unit, literally just got it. Although did it on his old radio too which was just a cheapo.
It's unamped, simply a pair of 14cm speakers on the rear shelf.
Only on certain radio stations (fine on CD) he gets a constant popping noise underneath the sound?
