i can take a mk2 dash out and have it back in in under 10 mins piece ov piss once uve done it once, only reason u need to push on the meash is mainly to grip it but once turned u`ll tell when its right to come off cos it raises slightly

U DONT HAVE TO REMOVE TO DASH, just push on the grill n twist , n it pops up

erm depends on yer soldering skills , there surface mount leds basically a rectangle 3mm x 2mm if i rember corectly, the ones on ebay come with some instructions or one fella will solder em for u at a extra cost of 50-70 quid ish carnt remember exactly

plastic sheet like lockwood white sheet for BACKGROUND

just go with ide , all pcs can have 4 ide drives , some times more so upto 4 drives either hds or cd drives or usb ones are pritty cheap nowadays

i just changed the plastic sheet to a richbbrook one, basically get the dails unit out , lever the needles off , swop the sheet then replace back

erm , all hds have a selecter on rear slave master cable select alls u do is set it oposit to what yer current one is on or just get a usb one :P

in dark they look same and to change the plastic colored sheet it aint exactly easy , i managed it , look for threads cos u have to take yer dash out
