erm providing u got e decent grfx car u should be able to run dual desktops. on mine i have a pc running and tv out as well e.g monitor for main desktop, tv for dvds mpegs etc, quality on still images/ text is slighly poorer , but on moving images its tops.windows creates 2 ajoining desktops...

erm sounds like it doesnt know what yer wanting to update on the ipod , goto the ipod options and select the lists u want to update

if its a .cda file its just a shortcut to your cd player. u need to rip the tracks from the cd , yer mp3 player should have come with some software if not try dbpower amp , or most cd burner software comes with the ability to rip tracks from cd to hd
