If your old Seats didn't have airbags some of the connectors won't connect up.
I'm guessing you've got a mk2 ph2, and the seats you bought were out a ph2 172/182 yes?
Battery Unserviceable basically means the battery won't hold a charge.
Very low start capacity too.
As long as your battery is 410 Amps. Should be printed on the label of the battery.
If that is right, does look like your battery is had it.
Could just be a coincidence lol.
Just out of interest MT, what would you say were the best brand of manufacturers of stalk controls to go for?
Are connects2 more reliable than autoleads?
At OP. To be honest by the time you've bought all the tools like axle stands, jacks, socket set etc, you'll probably end up paying more than the £250 you've been quoted.
Also if your buying your own clutch, make sure you buy a Valeo one, as these come with alignment tool and replacement release...
It's a MK2 Ph1 mate.
Good starting point you've got there!
As mentioned few ideas:
Colour code plastic bump strips. Even if you just do the ones down the side.
Dual optic headlights
Maybe lower it.
Oh and pass your test. That'd help :)
What replacement ones or are you referring to your standard ones?
If they are a set of components speakers, Yeaa defeats the point of them being component speakers really.
Because the crossover would filter the low end sound to the woofers, and the high end sound to the tweeters, which is what...
Get your rear seats out the way. Then get in and have a look for any screws. Remove the speaker grills and speakers.
Pretty sure they're just clipped on. Might have to undo the rear lower seatbelt anchor point thing.
Autoleads is a brand who manufacture wiring harness' / stalk controls.
Connects2 are another brand who do similar.
Trust, there are many benefits from being a paid member! Plus the fact you have to be a proper member to see the marketplace section, in theory keeps any would be scammers out...
On a non sport you don't have to do any of the above quoted in this thread, as the spark plugs you can access without removing anything. You can just pull up the ignition leads and undo the plugs with a socket.

Spacers that are 5mm Each side (10mm total track width) you should be okay on standard nuts.
Any more than 5mm spacers (each side) you will need longer bolts. I got mine from euro performance.
Ah guessing your not going for the pikey motorised screen one then, your going for the standard din sized one?
It'll stick out very far on the Clio's centre console, will look pap lol.
FK get my vote.
See this thread I cba reposting all the links lol:

LJ those should fit yes.
You can't buy stalk adaptors for Ripspeed headunit, as they are a Halfords own brand essentially.
Manufacturers like Autoleads/Connects 2 will do most major aftermarket brands like Sony, Pioneer, JVC etc.
Oh and don't bother with the Ripspeed unit anyway. Honestly just don't! Its tacky...
You need to buy stalk adaptors.
Most of them require two parts, the command module thing, then the Sony patch lead.
There is a guy on here called MT AUDIO. PM him and he should be able to sort you out.
Failing that search on the internet on audio sites. Then should just be plug and play.
