I'd guess they did this as your meant to fill up as soon as possible when the petrol light comes on.
Stop people complaining coz they ran out of fuel and the trip said they had two miles left or whatever.
My needle fluctuate's too.
Was better on my old non sport, had the digital fuel gauge.

Sorry lads, taken a couple of pictures of what I used, only thing is I've already done it so gonna have to draw out how I did it.
But basically yea the size of the MDF you just need to cut to just bigger than your amp.
And quite a thin bit. Smaller than a cm. I just used a bit I had laying around.
I'm looking at purchasing my first DA, currently polish by hand.
I know similar questions have been asked loads of times (sorry sure all you detailing lot must be getting bored:o), but I've been looking at various websites and just wondering what people would suggest as the best 'kit' to go for...

They just look so mean from the front.
I know you said you didn't want this, but when I briefly put my cat back on with my Yozza, was much much quieter. At certain rev's couldn't hear it whatsoever.

You won't need them. 90mm is more than enough on the rear, plus if remove the adjustors.
No way you'll be able to practically wind the fronts down all the way to 120mm anyway.
Save your money. At least fit them first then see what you think.
The wheel nuts hold the disc on anyways when the wheel is on.
Not sure whether you need the torx bolts, sure someone will be along to confirm yay/nay.
Edit: ^there ya go!
I'd do it looking at your other mods.
You won't get pops and bangs and stuff either. That's only if its mapped to do that.
I have a Yozza 182 Decat, and I get the odd pop at the end of the road when I set off in the morning, thats about it, So no need to worry about that!
