I have Alpine SP-R 2 way comp. at the front, and they sound very good imo. Nice and clear sound, and nothing I could set a bad finger on. But they also got a nice 2 ch. V12 amp. of power but sounded almost as good with only the H/U.
Will defo recomend type-R speakers if you wan´t very clear...
Just do as I wrote and it will control the sub very good........All the other settings like "slope" time corr. ect. are add ons that will improve bass or sound if you like. I dont use them my self as i want to control the amp gain and boost ect. from the Alpine H/U . Select the LPF where you...
If someone hit you they just can´t give you the hand in mirror to say sorry, they can´t se from their car if there are scratches or a crack. If someone threatens me like that I would go pretty damn evil, and give back at the same tone........Happend to me once and the guy became very polite...
It´s not protected, but the cover will hide it away so it look like a black trim, but of cause it will be fairly easy to se if you know about the cover ect. If you don´t know it looks like nothing is there..........Get it if that the one you like and just remember the cover every time.
My...
I have the "big brother" MRD-M501 and due it´s only a mono block there are quite a lot of settings. But as long as you select "CH1+2" and the "gain" along with the "LPF" it should work. But a bit more specific would be nice to know.........Like BRUN says what H/U and do you run it from "sub-out"...
If you want awesome sound and control go´ for Alpine. Sony is alright but seems to go´ more for design than good sound IMO. Had Sony before and I would not go´back..........But then again I like my H/U to sound nice and with great control rather than using the power on insane animations and...
Not higher than 80Hz, I run the LPF at 70Hz and it sounds nice and controlled without beeing too boomy. If I had 2x12" I would keep the LPF at 60-65Hz.......
Don´t know mate.......But not the worst thing too loose IMO. The Sony I had the bottom button was also used to skip between numbers. The scroller skips radio statoins and disc on the changer, just like the Sony ones.......But yes the could like Sony use a "small click" forward and "long click"...
I have a Alpine IVA-D300 RB with stalk-adaptor, works fine.......Volume + and - and mute, source select and skip forward on cd´s and MP3 disc. Also disc select with cd-changer. Radio up and down channel and search so only thing I miss is going back a track on cd´s.........
Any Alpine dealer...
The CDA 9835, 9833 and 9831 have multicolor illumination, I would choose either 9835 or 9833 depending on the display you like and money you have/want to spend.....Bio-Lite display is awesome, just like a small screen instaed of the dot´s on normal H/U displays.
There is Alpine and then theres all the rest..........Get a Alpine, sound qual. is so nice and no silly animations on the display. After my new Alpine I would never go´back to something else.....:D
OK COPPER and it might as well corrode in the engine bay then right????
Insulation= Plastic around COPPER wire = no air......Anyway a plummer don´t work with cabels now does he???? COPPER will corrod when mixin with air, but not when it´s insulated!!! OK??
^^^^ Chaffet by what??? How often do your fuel line get chaffed......It´s double insulated so don´t think it will . Your brakelines ar cobber too and they have no insulation so please........Beeing paranoid eye???
Cobber will only corrod when mixing with air and insulation = no air, so think...
I did mine yesterday and had it lined up besides the fuel line under the car and up through the fueltank gromet under the rear seat. Much easier than the bonnet release thing.
Do you have a multi meter?? Red or Yellow should be (+) from batt. Black (-) and Yellow or Red: ACC(+) when key is turned. But best of using a multimeter. Then unmount the speakers and use the (OHM) on the meter to find the right wires.
If your running amp´s on all speakers the H/U are not using it´s build in amp so upgrading it will not work. But you could try and turn the GAIN switch on the amp´s to make more power but don´t blow the speakers eye;)
^^^^Just had a look, and one of the screws supporting the mounting stand had come loose..........Replaced the screws with some proper ones and decided to test it, and I mean TEST it:devilish:
Found some pretty bad roads and drove over all the humps, manhole covers ect. I could find, but it...
Thats one awesome system, I have exactly the same:D Only thing is that my cd-changer(CHA-S634) in boot jumps pretty often. Mabye I need to install it else were but do yours jump ect.?? My Clio is lowerd nearly -70mm so might have something too do with it too.....but My old Sony-box didn´t:@
Did he cut it with the battery still on?? He could have blown a fuse wich will result in a fault or something like that.
I would rewire the loom and get a adaptor cable, because DON´T EVER CUT THE STD. LOOM.........Problems will always come when you do that!!!
If the Alpine has a aux in for sound only but if i´m not wrong it only have 1 pre-out so don´t thik you can. You will need a Pioneer AV-master unit as the dvd unit has no ampfiler...
