Get some Phlips Blue Vision they are brighter than standard ones and gives more light or some Osram Silver Star. They are about 3800- 4000 Kelvin so will look more "blue" than normal.I have the blue vision ones and the light is very good......Pretty much the closest you can come to H.I.D xenon...
The bulbs have a blue "tip" on the glass so when not lid it reflect bluish in the lens..........thats it. You can get them with 30% or 50% more light than standard halogen bulbs, but only in H7 and H4 socket. Just a styling thing with the blue tip over the vision Plus that will give you the...
What make are theese bulbs??? 6000K for the H7 seems a little too much as that is real H.I.D brightness......:o Don´t get me wrong but I don´t think they will be that bright, if so let me know so I can have one too;)
Oh just forgot...............Sidelights get some _LED ones, the blue vision form philips is no better than std. bulbs after a while as the loose their brightness. And for indicator defo some Silvervision or simuliar........Thats what I have in mine looks the dogs and the blue vision bulbs are...
Top part of dash is no way near it, had the dash of when I fitted my Alpine Tweeters, an easy job............it´s in the center consol under the radio where the fan switch ect. are.....
One of the bulbs in the ventilation section behind the controls is blown, anyone know how to get the old one out..........Not much room to get in there, but I can see the back of the bulbsocket:confused: It´s a mk 2 ph 1 (1999)
Thanks.....
Fit´s on the top of the std. spoiler.............looks ok. There are 2 versions, 1 to fit a non 172 spoiler and 1 that does so beware and order the right one.
If your on std. dampers that could be the reason too, they handle crap at - 60mm!!!But if your camber, tracking is incorrect this would be the first to get done........
Then wait until you can afford a good kit or even coilovers;) Waste of £££ to get -60mm springs only to swap them to a the real deal a littel tme after IMO
Get coil overs, the only way to a real lowering;) Will handle much better too. But with -80mm you will get some rubbing , or your are very very luckey. Mine rubs slight on full lock with nearly -70mm and 17´s, on the bumber not in the arches. it´s a ph 1 (pre´ facelift)
Mine drives very good when it´s raining, never had any probs. and it corners like it´s almost dry. I´m on Mich. Pilot´s and lowerd nearly -70mm on 17´s.
Fk use Koni dampers to many of their kits, and are a well known name here in mainland europe. Koni have a very good name thou, the price seems wery low and I doubt it´s for a coilover kit........At the Koni site the price for a coilover kit to a clio is way more and the kit they make will lower...
Had 17´s on mine for 2 years now, and lowerd -65mm 70mm on coilovers.....The Clio just drives super and never had any problems related to the wheels besides a little rubbing on full lock.......;)
Stalk control and display me think is Sony only.............So I would skip the display and get a Alpine HU, they can use stalk control to......Most brands can.
With the std. 14´s 175/60-14 on mine the speedo reads too much, about 3-4 miles. With 15´s 195/50- 15 it reads 2-3 miles too much. And finaly with my 17´s it reads spot on!!! 205/40-17.......I have mesured it with my GPS so should be ok;) But many people wimp about it when you ask them to get...
Yes I have to agree that the MK 2 ph. 2 lights on a MK 2 ph. 1 look so nice.....I´ve just done it and the Lexus ones I had before stays in the box. Looks so much better......:D
