this what you mean??? Until I searched I thought you meant shave the other way haha.
Fair point chip!! How hard is it to change rods without this special tool?? Don't wanna spend £50 on something to use it once you know! Also, gone for lemforder ball joints.. Will their rods and rod ends be up to the task?
Car is about on 70k,
I've bought cup wishbones, wishbone poly bushes, ball joints, 595 RSR tyres and camber bolts! Plan to buy rod ends, rack bushes, arb bushes, pms top mounts and brace, fit all at the same time and get a hunter system done on it. Just wasn't sure if I needed inner rods :/
I've been reading about and buying parts for a whole suspension refresh. Was wondering if inner rods are actually vital and what about them wears out??
I read they're a pain to change so if they're not absolutely needed I won't bother.
Thanks
I wish my LY was half as tidy as this!!! I'm trying to get it there but this one is awesome! I've got carbon badges and bullets and don't think much to the to be honest.. Graphite with yellow writing is what's needed. Also you've persuaded me to redo my brake calipers yellow. Previous owner has...
I had the 2 1/2" ktr system with decat and no center silencer.. Sounded really nice until the backbox broke and left a hole in the rear silencer. Only downside is it's really boomy on the motorway and just about makes your ears bleed!!!!
The previous owner of my car somehow fucked up the brakes and I get litterally no rear bias at all.. Sometimes a little bit. I wanna go down the bias valve option too
Some people fit them different way round depending on application, heat, usage. Depending which way they go, it'll either help the brakes get up to temp or keep them from over heating.
I think the guide means depth.. As in so many washers to create a spacer so the tensioner wheel sticks out far enough. If it the guide I've read anyway. Hope this helps!
I'm gonna be changing from gaz coilovers to new shocks and cooksport springs as the the coilovers are too soft for me and prefer the way Micks 172 rides on new shocks and eibachs
So today was fun, fitted the new tax disc holder in the cliosport member pack and the sticker, sticker in the pass side rear quarter window :D gave the car a wash and fitted some 10mm rear axle spacers I git from Ed.innit a while ago. To be honest could have done with 15's but might look at...
