definatly the clutch then. as for price i don't know? always done my own so it only costs me the price of the clutch;) ring round for some prices,imo i would say between £250 and £350 as its not as much labour intensive on a 1.2??

start the car put it in third and try to pull off like you would in first if it stalls instantly clutch is ok.if it pulls off but you aint going nowhere but does not stall most likely your clutch. could be a load of crap but thats how i checked my old car lol:o

iirc the jb3 gearbox on a r5 is the same as the ones used on some of the mk1 clios and later models? if so yes the jc5 box should fit (early 172 models with the speedo drive is the one you will need) you will also need the part of the mount that bolts to the gearbox as the three holes on the top...
