K-tec 182 style exhaust for 1.2

Was thinking about getting the K-tec 182 style exhaust for my 1.2 got a few questions about it first though! Had a look under the car tonight and it would appear that the spare tyre well is abit in the way! For anyone thats got this exhaust, does it fit in the small gap between the bumper and tyre well or do you need to remove the tyre and well as i would rather not do this! also is it easy to fit?

Recommendations for other exhausts are more than welcome aswell as pictures and videos!

Cheeeeers :)

tyre well needs removing, lots of messing about involved, its a complete t**t to fit tbh. and it sounds s**t apparently. i have a basicly brand new cat back system that will fit your car if your interested ? i can get photos tomorrow, looks and sounds nice and takes 10 mins to fit

  182
hate it when people try and make their cars look like something its not!!! especialy a 1.2:(

just makes you look like a right pleb when you bottom out at 90mph. wouldn't even bother mate

for instance you wouldn't buy a pair of decks trainers and sow a nike tick on them??? end of the day they're still decks trainers.

making it look like a 182 won't make it go like one! save your your money don't waste it.;)

  soon to be 182 ;)
£330, omg, i saw a non sport with one of these the other week, it was parked in halfords, says it all tbh

Use logic and look at the pic to decide if it fits without cutting the wheel well.

Also IIRC correctly the exits are a different width apart to 182 ones.

Lol at the halfords comments.

I've had mine for years now and as said in other threads the only problems I had were a few alignment issues are now fixed.

If it's something you want then go for it. Only thing i'd suggest is to get it properly fitted by a specialist for the best outcome. Oh and fits fine with the spare wheel well.

HAHA! funny thing is i actually work at Halfords.... but in the bike section!

I know its not going to be as fast as a 182 but i just want it to look abit better without turning it into a ned mobile with a huge 4" exhaust. Im not trying to make it look like a 182 either..... the exhaust would be the only bit that i would copy because i also hate people that stick gti badges on there cars when its clearly not! I would loooooooooooove a 172/182 however got an insurance quote the other day and it was just over £4000... so thats not going to happen. Im 18 just now..... so cant afford to run or insure anything more than a 1.2 so why cant i have fun with my car just now?!?!

Il try and fit it and see how it goes - probs not going to get it till about march now, ive got a mate who is an apprentice mechanic so might see if he can give me a hand if i get into trouble! Also know afew people who are pretty good with cars!!
