Has anyone bought and fitted an advanced timing sensor from B/B? Whats the difference, and are they any better than the original replacement one ?

Where and what is the CAS? Could it be knackered timing sensor? BB recommended i look at this too...

Yeah, i have a haynes - is there a large hole behind the number plate? saw it last time i had the plates off..is it easy?

But im thinking i have a 95 phase 2 16v with 95k on the clock, rear arches starting to rust, and some other minor body work repairs and the steering rack is on its way out, but since i have had in in Jan 2001, i have had the following repairs done to it.. Induction kit, strut brace, magnex...

Its just that the 16v is my main car, i go to work and do everything in it, so when its off the road, and still costing me money, its a bit downheartening. I cant understand how the hell it went in the garge to get one thing fixed, and it comes out with an entirely new problem! Its got loads...

Its just doing my head in, its cost me nearly £600 this month, and im still driving my 205 1.4 XT!!!!!!!!

Well well well, just got my beloved clio back from the garage yesterday, new gerabox, sachs performance clutch, fully fitted, well happy....even though i had just handed £352 quid + £75 i paid for the clutch....mmm nice.. Driving home and getting it warmed up, gearbox going better than ever...

Suppose it will be leaking oil tendencies - dont think the boxes run well without it! When i get mine back, it shouldnt leak should it, with it all being reconnd?

Im glad mine went in a way - least its something less to worry about when its fixed - get a decent clutch and warranty with gearbox - might perform a little better too... just steering rack and snapping timing belt to worry about now...!

Seen a Williams1 today at the scrappers.... Bodywork is mint, apart from needing a new front wing, missing an alloy, and looks like its had some major suspension damage - the strut on the passenger side is raised and bent, both front wheels are facing the opposite way, and the rear passenger...

So would you recommend this over the K-tec and BB ones, seeing as they are more than double the price? - sounds good - i know Sachs are a excellent make, German arnt they?
