Steering rack

I need to purchase another rack for My 2001 172, are all racks on sport models interchangeable or does it have to be 1 from exactly the same model,,,

Theres two different kinds - SMI makes one, and I think its TRW the other. Believe the TRW ones to be not that common place at least on ph2 cars. TRW racks have the name embossed on it, SMI racks have a label/no label. Also the track rod ends are different between the two I believe.

all are SMi, just the cup one has longer steering arms (can be swapped easily)
