    My "New" 172 Ph1 Flamer

Nothing too heavy. Wheels will need a re-furb sooner rather than later, will probs upgrade to HIDs, maybe 6k, a subtle splitter and maybe a 40mm drop eventually.Oh and the steering wheels is very tired so will do something about that. Main thing is mechanically its extremely well looked after :)

    My "New" 172 Ph1 Flamer

Hi all, Picked this little beauty up yesterday from Stockport, drove brilliantly back to Glasgow. Big thanks to frazjam for driving my Megane back. She's fairly standard except a k-tec exhaust. F1s could do with a re-furb but paintwork is in quite good condition and got an extremely fair deal...

Scottish Run - including a fair bit of blatant Clio pic wh0rage...;)

Splendid report and thread mate, trip looked awesome. Most of the people and indeed life disappear anywhere North of Inverness - some parts you'd have had the road to yourself i'd imagine. Makes me proud to be Scottish.

    Few more MK4 spy shots

Looks promising, but I think a 5 door only is a bad idea. Its just an excuse to introduce an over-priced 3 door "premium/coupe" model in about a years time. Citroen DS range springs to mind.

Welcome to the site........ My old mk2 had rokkor coilovers fitted they were cheap and did the job, does what it says on the tin. Agreed with the RS grille. 2200 miles and its going into the dealership already!

I have the Megane Coupe dCi 110. Not had any issues what so ever with it, quite torquey for the size of engine but I can see why you have been put off Renault, what a nightmare! Hope things improve for you mate

    Emotionally attached to your Clio/car?

True petrolhead I'd say, I sold my first car, 1.2 mk2 on 15/11/10 after 3 years and 42,000 miles and I still miss it. It doesnt matter if you are pleased with your new purchase (as I was) or not, seeing "your" car at the garage with a price on it gives you that sick/weird feeling IMO.

Renault Sport Clio Exclusive No.2 (Pics of missus)

Yeah agreed, the belts were the main reason I didn't bite but the interior was pretty mint from what I remember, perfect steering wheel etc. And yeah I stay in Glasgow but originally from Carradale...you know it?
